Civil weddings, celebrated in Italy, are legally recognized all over the world. A civil ceremony is always officiated by a Mayer or his substitute.

Usually civil ceremonies must be performed inside town halls but in some special locations approved by Italian authorities (for example in Positano) it is possible to arrange outdoor ceremonies.  Many Italian town halls are extremely important historical buildings of outstanding beauty and can provide a charming location for your wedding.
